Vehicle Violations in Proposed Area
Since 2024, there have been 148 driving violations in the proposed development plan concept. These statistics are from 1700 Dean Street to Ninth Street, Ninth Street to State, and State Street to Second Street in the above graphic.
The data was provided through a FOIA request regarding driving violations in the proposed area and the data provided details anytime a driving violation was issued or a warning between 2024 and 2026.
29 of the violations were at the intersection of State and Second Street to the East of the proposed development plan. 71 of the violations were between 1500 Dean Street through 1000 Dean Street including violations on the intersecting streets 17th through 11th.
Accessible Streets
According to Pulte Homes Seventh Street Commons proposal, there will be four exit points to the development: Ninth Street, Sixth Street, Seventh and Mark. The area between the Ninth/Dean Intersection through State/Second Street have seen the most vehicle violations at 67 between 2024 and 2026. The graphic to the left was during the April 21st, 2026 Plam Commission meeting with Pulte Homes, St. Charles and residents. Those within 250 feet of the project received a written notice. The quote shown, is from a resident who lived near the affected State Street area. The photo below shows the amount of Vehicle Violations between Dean/Ninth Streets and State all the way to Second Street.
